Our definition of clean is not limited to just vacuuming. The careful step-by-step process we implement ensures a rug's cleanliness.
Step 1: Rug Inspection
Prior to initiating any cleaning processes, we assess the damage or issues within the rug. This is in order to determine the next steps to be taken; such as how much dusting the rug requires or how to treat urine spots.
Step 2: Dusting
In advance of washing, we vacuum and dust the rug to make washing easier. We initially use industrial vacuums to suck most of the dust out from between the wool. We then finish it off with our heavy duty duster to take out any remaining debris.
Step 3: Rug Cleansing
We then shampoo the rug with rug-friendly chemicals to prevent dye removal and to make your rug smell extra fresh. The shampoo is environmentally friendly as well, and will not damage your rug's wool.
Step 4: Rinse and Wash
After shampooing, we rinse the rug from any chemicals previously used. This is then followed with scrubbing the rug clean using our industrial washer. If needed, we will add more shampoo and scrub any stains again until it disappears.
Step 5: Final Rinsing
We will water rinse the rug for a few more times to remove any dirty water and to wash out chemicals.
Step 6: Water Removal
We then remove most of the water out of the rug by using our large centrifuge. We then let it hang dry for a few hours.
Step 7: Brush and Dry
Once the rug is hanging on the dry rack, it is then brushed so that all the wool is consistent within it's direction.
Step 8: Final Inspection
Lastly, we take a final look at the rug to examine it's condition to ensure that we have fully cleaned it. If it needs any more work to be done on it, we then take more action.
